A secret exit is an exit that is present from the start of a level but is obscured by a special wall tile. Two secret exits exist in the game: one in C-13, and one in E-12.

C-13 secret exit

The secret exit in C-13 can be accessed by breaking the crumbled pillar tile at 12 tiles from the left of the level and 4 tiles from the top of the level, with the top-left corner being (0, 0) (12, 4) in the level. It leads to the set of hell levels from C-14 through C-19.

E-12 secret exit

The secret exit in E-12 is far more complicated to access than the C-13 secret exit. Players will likely find it through searching for it, as it is readily indicated on the right side of E-13. The method of access is as follows:

  • In E-9, use a shovel at 12 tiles from the left of the level and 3 tiles from the top of the level, with the top-left corner being (0, 0) (12, 3), and drop down the hole.
  • In E-10, use a pickaxe to break open the wall at 13 tiles from the left of the level and 2 tiles from the top of the level, with the top-left corner being (0, 0) (13, 2), then use a shovel to dig a hole there and drop down that hole.
  • In E-11, use a pickaxe to break the crumbled pillar at 13 tiles from the left of the level and 1 tile from the top of the level, with the top-left corner being (0, 0) (13, 1), then use a shovel to dig a hole there and drop down that hole.

You will then fall directly into the secret exit in E-12, leading to the right side of E-13. The hole in this area leads to the remainder of the hell levels.
