Elevator

The elevator is a mechanic in Pâquerette Down the Bunburrows that allows for easy access to deeper levels. The first elevator that most players will see is the elevator in Surface-Shop, but it is broken down until the player uses an elevator within the bunburrows. Once any elevator within the bunburrows is used, the surface elevator can be used to return to any other elevator the player has previously entered.

Elevators are most commonly placed in levels without a way to go deeper, though there are exceptions: most notably, C-20 is the only level in the main section of Hell with an elevator.
